From Professor diPretoroHope everyone is having a good summer. I am planning on having a skills day for studentws wishing to refresh their memories on nursing skills. I am specifically targeting those who will be in N220, N322 and N335 in the Fall but anyone is most certainly welcome.
It will be on Wednesday Sept 22nd from 0800-1200 and 1300-1600 with 8 stations available (assessment, foleys, GI stuff, Medications, IVs, central line care, wounds, trach/chest tubes/suctioning). Of course this is dependant upon having enough faculty to have skills day. Hopefully, things will work out. Please watch your e-mails as the time for starting school draws nearer. Depending on faculty response, there may have to be a particular schedule for the stations.
