HRSA's 2010 Nursing Scholarship Program
Available to students enrolled in all types of registered nursing programs, the Nursing Scholarship Program pays tuition, education-related expenses (including books, clinical supplies and laboratory fees) and a living stipend. In exchange, scholars must commit to working for at least 2 years after graduation at a health facility with a critical shortage of nurses.
Preference is given to qualified applicants with the greatest financial need who are enrolled full-time in an undergraduate RN program. Applicants must begin classes for the Fall term on or after July 1, 2010 and no later than September 30, 2010. It is expected that 500 awards will be made for the 2010-2011 school year.
