From Josynthia Silva: On October 1st, Coyote nurses had a special guest talk to us in regards to hospice care in The Gambia, Africa.  Direct relief is a program that helps those who require hospice care with essential supplies that otherwise would not be available to them.  I have been in contact with Vitas and Direct Relief and am given a list of supplies that are in need.  I reach out to you, our nursing students to help us gather some of these items.  Items include clothing, shoes, soaps and medical supplies.  The list will be posted and accessible to all and a box will be set outside of the nursing office.  All items will be collected and shipped out to Africa in early Feburary.  I hope you can contribute to this cause.
