Paul saying goodbye

The following is from Paul Wielenga:

As you probably know by now, I have accepted an NP position with a Nephrology group called Nephrology Associates Medical Group in Riverside. I will be working in the Temecula area monitoring and planning the care for clients with renal failure that are on dialysis. I will also see clients with the new diagnosis of renal failure and providing them with their options for treatment as well as educating them on how to care for themselves to optimize their quality of life. Although this is a specialty area, I will be also dealing with anemia, osteoporosis, diabetes, hypertension, heart failure, atherosclerosis, and many other comorbidities that lead to and result from renal failure (remember your patho).

The time I have spent at CSUSB has been a rewarding experience because of you, the students. Your hard work and positive attitude made it easy for me to do my job.
I have been fortunate to be your clinical instructor and see you care for patients in the hospital and I am always impressed with your dedication to the patient, no matter what the circumstances. I am equally impressed with your professionalism in lectures, labs and in the community. Please contact me at any time if you need letters of recommendation or if you just need someone to talk to. Please invite me to your pinning and graduations, I would be honored to be part of those events. Since I will not have a CSUSB email address, you can find me at paulsclinical@sbcglobal.net as well as my phone 951-505-4532. I wish you all the best in your RN careers."
